Half day

We're halfway done with class now so they're gave us half days friday and monday to go into work and catch up. Most of us don't have anything to catch up on, however. Class time was spent going over the protocols we'd written on wednesday with official reviewers. Despite not knowing what I was doing, they didn't find too much wrong with mine. It was good to go through the process in a more relaxed setting before we have to do this for real. An actual run through will involve more team work, which will be nice. After the reviews, we got another stats review and then were set free.

I spent my bonus time at City Hall signing up for water/trash/sewage service. I'm very excited about having recycling again.

The movers loaded up the contents of my apartment today. Fortunately, this went better than the packing did so Shantastic wasn't stuck helping. She said the driver was very nice and had no problem taking my plants once she assured him I wouldn't be too upset if they didn't make it. Which reminded me I'd forgotten to ask her to add my super vine from work to the box. I don't actually have any windows at the new job though so it's probably better off where it is. Shantastic is going to get another cutting from Pat so I can start fresh. I'm really hoping everything gets here wednesday or thursday. I miss my stuff. Bel sent me a box of dvds she'd borrowed so I have more options, which is nice (also: mail!).
