I started my errands at work this morning so I could print out my layouts for my furniture so the movers will know where I want everything. Next was B,B,&B for a shower curtain, rod, and rings. There's a grocery store next door so I picked up mom's breakfast requests. Then I stopped at Target to return some stuff. My last stop was Home Depot. I picked up a programmable thermostat, UV blocking films for the windows (will supposedly help with my heating bills and fading, a dryer vent so I can stack it on the washer (which reminded me to request a stack kit from SJ), and a ceiling fan (on clearance!) (thanks to J&J for making much of that possible, I'll think of you when my house is the perfect temperature).
Since today was a day of spending money, I went ahead and booked tickets for a Cincinnati trip in October. Connie and the boys will be there and I'd like to attend Kate's bridal shower/bachelorette party. I'm also excited about seeing the whole family. I miss them.

Isn't it funny how the money spending comes easier when you're already spending? I'm glad you've got a trip home to look forward to.
And I'm impressed with your planning skillz. Printing out where you want furniture to go? Damn!
Heh, it's not actually a trip home, although I definitely consider them family. Connie is a friend from school and her family has very nicely adopted me. I probably won't make it home home until Christmas.
La-z-boy.com made the layouts super easy. I've had too much time in the temporary housing so making actual home plans was fun. I also needed to make sure everything fit where I wanted it too. Plus, I won't be able to be around much yesterday and I'd hate to get home and find my super huge, heavy desk in the wrong place.
