We didn't start until noon yesterday (with lunch which was nice) but I got up early anyway so I could run some business hour errands. I mailed some stuff at the post office and then picked up a copy of my AZ car insurance so I could get new plates for the car. Unfortunately, the dmv's printer was down and their inspector wasn't in so no luck there. I did get a new driver's license. It is not as nice looking as my MI one (although the picture might be better) which she punched holes in. It was a bit sad.
We did more stats in class and had a catapult competition. Our group had a huge error range in our data so didn't do very well. I had thought I'd need to skip out on the end to close on the house but the bank wasn't done with the paperwork so we have an appointment at 9 this morning. I met Stephanie over there after class to give the place a final inspection but the window guy (they're replacing one whose seals failed, fixing some screens, and repairing a couple latches) won't be there until this morning so the walk through got pushed to lunch today. I did get keys though.
M&M made it to Flag yesterday and got moved into their temporary housing. They stopped by to pick up the suitcases they'd left with me and get a key to the townhouse. One of them is going to meet the cable guy there this afternoon.
A couple of guys from class came over around 8 to watch the season premiere of Heroes. One is a huge fan but the other had never watched. We tried to catch him up over commercials but I don't think we converted him. It is a weird show if you're jumping in randomly. And a lot of the characters were strangely stupid last night.

Didn't you watch the pre-show for Heros? I sat down to watch the season premier and ended up watching all 3 hours (pre-show + 2 chapters). I had not faithfully watched last season but got sucked back in. Now if only C would watch it!
OK, so what I want to know... why didn't Hiro's father, or grandfather before him, just burn the darn piece of paper if it's so terrible? And poor Ando. If Hiro keeps up, Ando will stab him in the future just to get back at him for being such a jerk.

I'm still without my multiple vcrs so I had to choose between the Heroes refresher and How I Met Your Mother so I figured I'd catch up as I watched. My guests didn't come over until the premiere was starting so we had to catch each other up.
Why won't C watch it? Is it too Alias like for him?
I'm not sure why Sulu didn't just burn the formula. Maybe it has some positive application and he didn't want to risk it?
I agree on Ando. He's one of my favorite characters (I have a soft spot for the regular guys who sign up for danger (like Xander)) and Hiro is not being fair. He should be wondering about the shooting electricity thing.
Did you recognize Weevil? I hope there's more of a Veronica reunion later (he's the guy Peter is trapped inside).
OK so C watched it online the next day. (I don't know what his deal was Monday.) He was kind of 'eh' about it though. He said it looks like a re-hashing of last season and lots of time jumping. We'll see. -LP
