We took the kids to the Y (also known as Hawaii) this morning to swim. They have a really nice kid area with a large shallow area and cool fountains. Kelly picked up LaRosa's for lunch and then we had to leave for the airport. Apparently, McCain was in Dayton so there was a huge cop presence on the expressway but we didn't run into any roadblocks (the woman next to me on the plane almost missed the flight when her normally half hour drive took an hour). It was really hard to leave. I'm going to miss them.
Both legs of my trip were on time and fairly painless. I was stuck in the middle seat for both and probably made both seatmates miserable with my runny nose (I picked up a cold from the twins). We got into Phoenix early but it was still dark so the drive north was fun. The worst part was trying to guess which exit would have good, easy to get to fast food though. There aren't enough signs north of the airport.
