Matt and I joined Tim and Jill on a hike yesterday. I'm not sure exactly how it happened but we settled on going up Mount Elden. It's only 2.5 miles (5 round trip) but, in those 2.5 miles, the elevation goes up almost 2,400 ft (to 9,300). Matt and I (mostly me) took a lot of breaks. I had to keep stopping to catch my breath.
