Cajun

We decided to expand our dinner group starting this week. Karel couldn't make it but Tim and Jill came and fit in nicely. The guys managed to get off easy this week (they've earned it, there's been a number of weeks were they're stuck in the kitchen. They enjoyed their freedom:

I mostly did chopping (my time between work and dinner was filled with an oil change for Baxter (and a fix of an inconsistent headlight) and railing/spindle purchasing). Jill made a fantastic jambalya (which I didn't not get a picture of).

Megan contributed a shrimp/butter/beer dish:

Definitely another successful meal:

Which was followed by Matt's beignets. Yum.
