The AAA engineers in my building have a breakfast meeting once a month to go over everything that's going on and discuss issues. Normally, one of us brings in food but today we went out to a local breakfast place. After we got back, I printed my visual standards pictures to make sure they look nice away from my computer screen (they do) and caught up on my spec reading. For lunch, I played cards for a bit and then crashed the potluck next door (I was invited). When I got back to my building, it was pretty deserted. Apparently noon is a good time to wander out before big holidays here.
