I bought £25 from a guy at work today. He was complaining about not being able to find a bank who would exchange them. I'll use them eventually so I offered to take them. I met with him later in the day for some photography help. I've been working on some visual standard updates but haven't had much luck getting good pictures. He brought in his super fancy camera and then did some photoshop work. Since he's the equivalent of my director, it was a bit strange to bother him with this but he was pretty excited about playing around with pictures. Working for a matrix organization is going to take some getting used to.

We moved our wednesday dinner a day early this week because of people traveling. The menu tonight was black bean soup and fish tacos. Mo got sucked into an urgent project at work so couldn't make it, unfortunately. We missed him but had a good discussion about our jobs and the people. It's really nice to be able to talk to people in the same position I'm in.
