My building had a potluck Thanksgiving dinner for lunch today. I brought in Connie's dad's sweet potatoes. They were a hit. Everything else was delicious as well and I'd really like a nap right now.
Last night's group dinner was homemade mac and cheese at Mo's. I was assigned to bring cider so didn't have to do any cooking, which was nice. Also nice was Mo's roommates' cat.

And what made these sweet potatoes special?
I can't stand the marshmallow casserole ones but I love just regular sweet potatoes mashed or baked or used in place of white potatoes.
They're basically mashed sweet potatoes with brown sugar, butter, and karo syrup. And marshmallows on top.
I agree on the baked sweet potatoes. Delicious.
