I met Michelle over at Jo-Ann's this afternoon to look at fabric for roman blinds (the cheap, metal blinds in my bedroom are driving me crazy. They don't really insulate or block light). By the time we left, it had started snowing lightly. I think it's stopped now though.
Not much else going on here. I finished emptying my book boxes (I think) and have alphabetic piles down my staircase. I did some weeding but probably not enough to eliminate the need for a new bookcase.

Which ones are the Roman blinds? Are they with the fabric folded over itself and you let down some of it? I'm trying to figure out how you would make your own blinds...
Yep, roman blinds are fabric that accordions up when you open them. My friend swears they're super easy. They may not be that cheap, however. I only seem to like the nice fabric.
You'll have to let me know how the pattern works out when you find some fabric. I've only ever made regular curtains before.
