A group of us went to see the Star Trek movie tonight. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who is planning on going but will say that I loved it and had a lot of fun. The only thing wrong with our outing is that it didn't include my normal geeky movie group (geeky movies, not geeky group).
I'm hoping I can find time to go again once I've read enough comments to know more things to look for. I completely missed Agent Weiss' cameo.

He was the voice of James T's stepdad.
That's what I figured from the credits (he's the guy yelling when Kirk steals the car, right?). I didn't recognize his voice at all though.
I need to find a list of in jokes and nods to original Trek somewhere before going again.
Aww... we're going to miss having you there to hash it out when we finally get to see it. Opening weekend plans fell through so C is trying to schedule again this weekend. Will keep you posted. -L
I definitely want to hear both of your thoughts. I'm not usually as critical as C (seeing a movie in the theater automatically bumps the grade up for me) but I enjoy his analysis.
