I met Justin and Megan downtown sunday morning for the bike bazaar. Megan almost bought a cheap mountain bike to use for work (she just has a road bike so she has to walk it part of the way in) but didn't decide quickly enough and it was snatched up. Most of what was for sale wasn't identifiable by amateurs but it was fun to explore. We wandered through some of the shops and then went back for the Ride to Work Week opening parade (only non-motorized vehicles allowed).


This week's knitting movie was Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Karel's curtain killed my sewing machine (temporarily, he picked up a new needle for me and fixed it back up for me). It looks very good.

I finished off another project that's been on my desk for a while this morning (almost, I need one more signature but should have it tomorrow).

Megan and I met at NAU for swimming again after work. I'm getting better and did 3/4 of a mile so I think I can finish up the Iron Man requirement wednesday. I was worried I'd have to try to fit in more laps while my mom was here. Now I should just be down to the biking. And I can make mom come along for some rides.

I also picked up a new saddle for my bike, along with a water bottle holder and some tape for the handle bars. I put the saddle on tonight but will need help with the taping. Michelle's bike is in the shop for some gear work so I'm off the hook for riding in tomorrow. Maybe wednesday.
