I had someone look at my garbage disposal friday over lunch. Unfortunately, the home warranty people sent over an appliance guy instead of a plumber so he couldn't do anything. I need to find someone this week.
After work, I stopped at the library (and helped organize their knitting book shelf) and then wandered downtown. It was a very good day for a walk. When I got home, a technician came over to fix my garage door. I'd tried to readjust the closing force myself but my model doesn't have handy knobs or a user manual online. After watching this guy play with the settings for a long time, I'm glad I called. I'm also thrilled to have confidence that my door will shut when I tell it to.
