Our annually viewing of Home Alone (Mary's favorite Christmas movie) gave her a craving for pizza so we got Cottage Inn on saturday. It's a Michigan chain and is delicious.
We did some shopping in Birch Run on sunday and then met Kay and Carol for dinner in Midland. We got just enough snow for Mary to be able to do some cross country skiing that morning and monday before she flew back to DC.
Carol and I went to see Where the Wild Things Are (I miss having a dollar show (even if it's $3.50 now) on tuesday. My memories of the book are very fuzzy but I recognized a lot of the scenes and the creatures were perfect. I'm really glad I got to see it on the big screen.
