Vegetable stock

My wednesday night cooking group has been discussing a bulk cooking day for a while now but haven't really gotten organized until last week. The plan was to make large batches of a couple soups, chili, meatloaf, and potatoes to freeze so we won't have to cook for a while (except for wednesdays, of course). Because several of our recipes called for broth, Matt and I made an early run to Sam's after work on friday and made several pots full.


They cooked for about 6 hours, raising the humidity in my house considerably:

Matt and I watched the first 2 Bourne movies. As the second was starting, I thought to ask if he'd seen them before (he hadn't) so I avoided spoiling things for at least that movie (I'm used to watching with Shannon and discussing everything as it happens).
