Bulk cooking

Saturday was bulk cooking day. We made 7 different dishes and split them up in convenient meal size portions for freezing.

Mo started on his bread while the rest of us ate a late breakfast:

He made 5 loaves with various nuts and fruit baked in (he learned over the summer while working in Alaska. Making your own was much, much cheaper than buying it):

I peeled many, many potatoes for the feta garlic mashed potatoes:
Justin went a little crazy with all the chopping:
Megan made her delicious tomato basil soup and a bean soup with ham (I haven't tasted this one yet but it smelled excellent:

Matt cleaned out the gladware supply of one of our local groceries. Justin ended up with cleaning duty:
We're not sure how we ended up with all orange dishes but I'm very happy about my full freezer.

There's something very aesthetically pleasing about all of those filled containers.
