Exploring

My realtor, Stephanie, and I drove around Thursday without much luck. We did tour the townhouse listed with ‘the former home of the NAU basketball team’ as a selling point. It is supposedly vacant and the power is gone but the inhabitants fled in a hurry, leaving a lot of stuff, including an x-box, a half eaten bowl of cereal, and a large photograph of a face on a stick. We were very intrigued. S promised to ask around. Underneath the mess, it’s a nice place but it looks like the neighborhood is all students (very well off students). The pink house looks very nice with carpet and new paint. They replaced the back door but didn’t take down the border in the kitchen and Elvis has left the building. I went to Target when we finished, which was not the smartest thing to do since it’s move in time for NAU so it was packed. Apparently, they brought up every available employee in the state (one girl from Phoenix was complaining people kept asking her for directions) so checking out was pretty quick. And Target shares a parking lot with Jo-Ann’s, Michael’s, and 2 used and new book, dvd, and music stores so it was a good trip.
