Weekly dinners
I've missed 3 weeks of dinner updates. We've been meeting at Matt's more often for his grill, his couch surfers, and his very nice outdoor seating.- 3 weeks ago, we went with Indian. Tim and Jill brought supplies for mai tais which caused some problems with the cooking (more alcohol content than we were used to). One batch of rice ended up a bit smoky tasting because no one remembered to set a timer and we completely lost track of time. The tofu also ended up a bit crispier than we'd intended. Matt's homemade naan was delicious (although not on the grill).
- 2 weeks ago, Jessica invited us to her hotel (she was hired to work in our Phoenix offices but is training up here for a few weeks to start). We got take out from a new Greek restaurant in town (we actually have 2 now!). The food was delicious but they had some trouble getting us what we'd ordered (and tragically forgot the baklava). After dinner, we enjoyed the pool.
- We made black bean burgers last week. They turned out very well. Mike made guacamole and we grilled peaches for dessert. Matt's couch surfers (from Mexico/Boston and Germany) were very entertaining.
