It was delicious and very impressive looking.A group of us went to Oregano's for lunch (free cookie pizza!).
For the evening, Matt planned surprises. We started with the Informant! with Justin (it was very fun). We then met the rest of the group at Black Bart's saloon, tavern, and revue.
The waiters are all NAU theater students who sing random selections when not serving. It's very popular with tour groups (there were a couple of French buses there last night).
For once, the happy birthday song was sung well. The cake was also delicious.
We finished eating in time for me to get to Michelle's for Castle (she hadn't been able to make it to dinner).
Overall, it was one of my better birthdays. I have very awesome friends.

Glad to hear that you had an excellent birthday, akg. I've no clue how one would make a cupcake that huge, but it looks awesomely delicious.
If you haven't done so, tell Megan that she officially rocks!
The cupcake is made using 2 special cake pans (top and bottom) and then using frosting as glue to attach them. It was awesomely delicious and I have been passing on lots of thanks and compliments to Megan. She does rock.
