Yarn winding

Just before moving to AZ, I visited friends (Connie and John) in England and we went camping in Wales. While we were there, we visited Honorwood farm so I could pick up some local yarn. I haven't picked a project for the skeins I bought for me but I also bought a couple of extra skeins so I could make a present for Connie. Unfortunately, I forget to get a picture of the finished product so I just have the prep work.


The yarn came in this form which needed to be wound into what are called cakes.

Connie's gift was a lace wrap that turned out lovely.
