Apparently, my body was not ready for 48 miles of biking in a weekend but didn't really object until monday morning when it was too late. I had my first visit to a chiropractor yesterday and he was very impressed with how much I'd messed myself up (with the help of some fun genetics (my x-rays were very interesting). It's feeling a bit better but I'm still having trouble standing up straight.
There really isn't any good time to want to spend all your time laying flat on the floor but this week is particularly bad. I finally set up a time for a guy to retexture the rest of my ceilings (I'm very excited about losing the popcorn (my excitement was mocked by the woman checking out my mud, plastic, and tape (this guy is very cheap but I'm in charge of supplies))). I managed to clean out a lot of my guest room but had to get Megan and Justin over to help with the big stuff. Tonight, I have to do something with my office which is a scary, scary place, full of stuff I didn't know what else to do with.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your back. Hopefully the chiropractor will be able to move things back to their correct location. Is the chiropractor using a Pro-Adjuster? When I saw the chiropractor after the car accident that machine worked really well.
Oh no! I thought I was the one with a bad back! Do you have scoliosis too? I have only a smidge, but enough to cause problems. Ice works the best on backs, not heat. Hope you feel better!
I didn't see anything labeled Pro-Adjuster at my chiropractor's. He's been adjusting things manually (which is really odd for a newbie).
It's not scoliosis but something else with a weird name I can't remember. Basically, my lowest vertebra is a weird shape so things get out of alignment more easily (I think. I was focused more on 'fix me' while the guy was talking).
