Matt, Karel, Mike, and I went on a hike the saturday before the 4th in Walnut Canyon. After all the hills in Seattle, I'd requested something flat. Matt found a new hike which was mostly what I wanted, once you got into the canyon. Getting back up was fun but it was a perfect day and very good company.
After the hike, we split up for some shopping and then met back at Matt's for dinner. The burgers and corn were delicious. This is Karel showing off his creation:
And we followed that up with peach cobbler, grilled pineapple, and ice cream:
