The monday after the fires, I flew up to Seattle to meet up with my sister. She had training for work there through wednesday so I had a couple days on my own to explore.
I got in pretty late but was in time for the very convenient light rail which took me within 3 blocks of our hotel. Unfortunately, they were very, very steep blocks (my suitcase rolled backwards every time I stopped). I'd never really thought of Seattle as hilly but it definitely is.
