Matt and I went down to Phoenix on the 19th for our last show at Gammage (In the Heights) and a long list of errands. When we turned our phones back on, we got news about a fire in Flagstaff. It had started behind a hotel about a mile and a half from my house. Fortunately, before I could panic, Tim and Jill let me know that they were ready to grab the cats if the neighborhood had to leave (and that they'd closed my windows). Evacuations got to the neighborhood before us and there were warnings to pack just in case but the firefighters got things under control before we had to go.
Tim and Jill took pictures (and let me use them).
