More quilting

I went over to Michelle's last tuesday. I took my knitting (which I can't show until after Christmas). She worked on the snowman quilt she got in Houston:


I made her get out the squares from our class at the quilt show. She went with smaller Dresden plates than I did. She's planning on piecing them in curves rather than circles.


This is what our block of the month quilt will look like when we're finished (without the flowery border and the pink inner strip will be different (this picture doesn't really show it but the pink is very scary).
