I drove down to Phoenix the thursday before Thanksgiving to pick my mom up at the airport. It was apparently a bit too soon for my back so I made her drive up from Verde Valley.
We spent a lot of the first couple of days grocery shopping for Thanksgiving dinner and watching HGTV. Mom helped me with my list of stuff to do around the house. She has also been helpful in getting the cats properly spoiled.
