Main Floor Bathroom

The bathroom on the main floor was first on my list to update. I'd hoped to get it done before my lease was up and I moved in but my contractor couldn't get away from another job. Once he started, he was able to finish up in 8 days.

The original walls looked like someone had smeared toothpaste all over:

And cleaning was not a priority of the previous tenants:

New walls!

This is the tile Shannon found. The marbled hexagons were exactly what I was looking for:

I went with subway tile around the tub/shower:

The upper walls will be a silver grey when I get around to painting them. The beadboard will stay white but will get a fresh coat, along with the rest of the trim:
