On Saturday, we went exploring to find an antique mall we’d heard good things about. We got a bit lost but eventually found our destination after stopping at an excellent Mexican restaurant for lunch. On the way back, we got hit by a storm with very large hail (a tornado was spotted nearby but didn’t touch down). Pat got us off the freeway and under some shelter but, unfortunately, her windshield cracked first.
The hail was huge. This is our view from the car:
Carol risked getting hit to grab this example. There were bigger ones but they weren't within reach of the door.
Once the storm quieted down a bit, we went to Big E's BBQ for a delicious meal.
