Weatherford

Mary let me sleep in friday morning (I think she was enjoying kitty time) so we decided to do a hike in Flagstaff instead of driving to Sedona (we should get there monday).

We drove out Schultz to the Weatherford Trail. According to my hiking book, it was a loop but we didn't get to a turn.

The aspens were very yellow.


We got up to around 9000 feet.


We eventually gave up on the loop concept and retraced our steps. A check on a trail map later showed that my book lied to us so it was good we turned around.
